Brighid Shelby

This is my second time working in Japan, and I feel extremely lucky to have found a company like New Life Kashima. When I was searching for a job, I knew I wanted to have a relationship with my students, my co-workers, and my management, if possible. In a small company like New Life, it’s easy. New Life Kashima is also great for me because I feel like I’m really teaching using the PLS system?my kids learn amazingly quickly, and have tons of fun while they are at it.
Kashima city is a great compromise between Tokyo and the remote parts of Japan, since it’s easy to go to Tokyo when I want, or drive to the mountains in the north of Ibaraki. It’s also easy to stay here next to the ocean and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Kashima. I recommend working here to anyone?especially if you’re looking to avoid those huge fast-food English companies! This is real teaching in a real place with real people, and I love it.
